Meet Mr & Mrs Prickle!

Not long out of hibernation, this adorable couple are sure to be found searching for stray acorns or pretty daffodils! 

We’ve made ours from a mixture of felt and faux fur but  you can use your imagination and use whatever you like! Once you have the pattern – why not enlarge it – what a brilliant doorstop it would make!  Use your machine or stitch by hand. 

Imagine giving these as a gift!

To make a pair of hedgehogs you will need:

Full printed pattern & instructions

Fur fabric – 20cm x 30cm

Felt fabric – 25cm x 30cm

2 pairs of 6mm handmade English glass eyes

Doll needle & strong thread for eye insertion

Black nose thread approc 1m

Polyfibre filling – approx 60g

You will also need a basic sewing kit and sewing thread, scissors, card if you want to glue your pattern to it, an hour or 2 to yourself, a nice cuppa and your favourite film in the background!
