Hoots Man! Meet Our little furry Highland Haggis!
A little bit of fun for Burn’s Night – January 25th – we thought we’d whip up a very quick, easy sew pattern to make your own adorable little ‘Haggis’.
Use up your scraps and make a whole herd! Finished size is about 10cm long by 6cm high so they would make great table decorations of you’re inviting people around for neeps & tatties!
You will need:
Shaggy faux fur 15cm x 15cm (6”x6”)
Tartan fabric 11cm x 11cm (4.5”x4.5”)
Polyfibre filling – approx. 10-15gms (you could add some weighting if you want)
Googly eyes (ours are 7mm) or white and black felt
Black felt for nose
Bell, button or pompom for top of the Tam’o’Shanter
Basic sewing kit, scissors, glue (PVA)
(Suitable for vegetarians!)
